Stretch Goal Voting

Heroes! This update is all about voting. Don't worry, these elections are NOT rigged. We have kept the alcalde very far away from them.

Facemask Vote

The people have spoken! Thanks for voting on the facemask design in the last update, everyone. I think it's a pretty clear Option 1 will win the day, but we'll still let it go through to the end of the campaign before we make it official.

Next Stretch Goal Vote

It was revealed in the comments that the $19,000 is for adding a foil finish to the Ally Pack, which we thought was pretty cool, but a couple backers suggested they would rather have more cards or other types of upgrades. We'll be getting more stretch goals before the end for sure, so now you can vote on what you want to see RIGHT HERE! 

To help you decide, here are some more details about each:

•  More Equipment Cards - We could add more Equipment Cards to Equipment Pack #2 to expand the variety and options for combos with them.
•  More Ally Cards - We could add more iconic Zorro allies to the Ally Pack #1 for more unique abilities and options in which ally you choose to fight at your side.
•  Foil Finish on Promo Pack Cards - We can give the promo cards a shine, so when one of them hits the table, you know it's special -- that it didn't come in the base game or expansion.
•  Name on Big Box - When you complete your BackerKit survey and you back at the Deluxe level and up, you can opt-in to putting your name on the Zorro Big Box so your contribution to this project will live forever.
•  Engraved "Z" on Big Box - We'll engrave the letter "Z" on top of the Big Box so it looks like Zorro (or you) carved it into the box with a sword.
•  Wooden Stunt Token Upgrades - We can engrave the Zorro-on-a-horse logo into the deluxe wooden stunt tokens instead of just having them painted on them. We can also increase the quantity so that there is enough for everyone to put them on your Level Tracker dual-layered chipboard slots so you don't forget to take them with each level you gain.

Whichever ones get the most votes doesn't necessarily mean we'll go through them in that order because there are costs and other considerations too, but it will help direct the unlock order so we can get the ones you want the most first. Thanks for voting!

We need your help to decide on the final design for the faceMask of Zorro. Followers of the campaign before launch voted on 6 different designs and a more subtle design won that vote. However, feedback in our Facebook and Discord communities suggested an all black design with the logo might be better. So YOU can help us choose. Which would you prefer to wear when you're off saving the day?

Zorro Flights

If you are a big Zorro fan, you’ll be happy to know there are still a few days left to back a new Zorro comic book series from our friends at American Mythology Productions. Don McGregor, who has worked on Zorro, DC, and Marvel graphic novels over the last 50 years has a new Zorro tale to tell us. You can get a limited edition cover variant if you back it on Kickstarter. Pledge Manager

We've had some special requests for what you'd like to see in the BackerKit pledge manager, such as the dice rolling tray, the Heroes and Villains expansion, the custom meeples, and maybe even the leather bag from the original campaign. Day 1 Heroism Recap

Welcome new heroes and welcome back to those who have been fighting scoundrels and villains since our last Zorro campaign. Congratulations on being a first day backer! Now, let's get down to business, shall we?

WE ARE FUNDED!

The official time of 100% funding was about 3.6 hours. That's pretty darn good... maybe enough to get on the medal stand? Oh wait, I'm getting confused. Where am I? Ahh yes, WE FUNDED! This game is happening! Thanks for being here right from the beginning, everyone. Now that we accomplished that heroic feat, let's move onto the next one.

Bolos Stretch Goal

Clayton put together some sweet stretch goal images for this campaign, didn't he? It's going to be so much fun revealing them slice by slice. We already unlocked the Bolos Equipment Card, which will be added to the Kickstarter-exclusive Equipment Pack #2. That pack now has 5 cards in it and I have a feeling that won't be the last one that gets added.

This card gives you a big advantage during duels, which is very useful because I would say more than half the games come down to a duel between some of the players. I am personally willing to take up an Equipment slot for something like this as long as I feel confident the rest of my equipment will be enough to take down the villain.

More Stunt Tokens Stretch Goal

What this lets you do is now there is enough stunt tokens so, instead of having them all in a pile, you can actually put one on each level of your Ally Card so that when you attain that level, you take the token from your Ally Card rather than a pile. It just makes it easier to remember to get the token.

Text-Interview Friday

You may know the name WEREDINO from the comments. Well he is text-interviewing us LIVE on his Discord server, The Social Deduction Network, on Friday at 7am Pacific. We have done this before (here's the one from our Good Cop Bad Cop: Promoted campaign) and we always have a lot of fun with it. I promise it won't be boring.

We'll share the full interview for this campaign in an update afterwards too of course. He might post a link to his server as a comment to this update where you can tune in. We shall see.

Kicktraq

We're #1 on Kicktraq right now, which is a great way to raise awareness. You can click the "Visit Project" button on the Stunts and Allies page and add news to it to help keeps us there.

Campaign Presentation Improvements

We're only 1 day into the campaign so there's plenty of time to make improvements on the campaign and increase our funding. When you scrolled through the page, did you see anything that jumped out at you that was confusing or could be better?
